Project: Sports Highlight & Recruitment Video:
The latest updates:
I have almost finished my first sports highlight video. I am incorporating the use of 3D Invigorator Pro, which is a plug-in for Adobe After Affects. This software has its’ own interface inside of the software. It is similar to the plug-in for Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Premiere Pro is the video editing software of choice, Adobe Encore to apply Menus, Submenus and Bonus content to along with burning the media to a DVD. I will use Photoshop to make custom graphics that will in turn, be used as the background designs for my Lightscribe DVD. Adobe Soundbooth is the software I will use to edit my audio for proper sound transitions and effects.
I will be using a Lightscribe DVD drive purchased as an external drive for my Macbook Pro to Laser print my DVD covers designs on a Lightscribe DVD. The Lightscribe DVD/CD labeling software version for the Mac has also been installed. To avoid and copyright infringement laws, I was given this website, www.freemusicplay.com. I have registered with the company and downloaded applicable background music as I saw fit.
I have run into a few issues with my Adobe software, Premiere Pro and Encore. The software keeps crashing and locking up my computer. I thought I solved this issue by reinstalling the software over the Christmas holidays but to new developments, the same issues have struck once again. They are causing long waiting periods for the media to process and then everything stops and then it crashes. It is a very frustrating process.
I have begun to do sample graphics with 3D Invigorator Pro and they are looking pretty good. I run into a problem of not knowing how to animate 3D Text in this software. I began to look at the “browse Presets” in Adobe Bridge to do a cross-reference of how After Affects applied animation settings to 2D text in 3D space. I have not yet found a solution to this problem. My professor has suggested the use of Blender, which is also a 3D modeling software. I will go that route if no information is retrieved in After Effects.
